We encourage everyone who comes to Lincoln Nerd Fest to wear a costume and join our Cosplay Parade!

MTG Tournament - Day 1

Tournament Details

Come test your skills in a cEDH 5k!

$70 Entrance Fee

 

Player check in 9AM-9:45AM (Deck lists required)

Player meeting at 9:45AM

Tournament begins at 10AM

 

Proxy policy: Up to 10 proxies will be allowed for this event.  Each proxy must be a MDFC placeholder card with the name, casting cost and card type clearly written.  Each player should have a printed copy of each proxied card on the side.  More than one card can be printed on a sheet of paper but each card should still be the size of a normal card.  

 

This will be a two day event with Swiss play happening on Saturday and a cut top 16 on Sunday.

The tournament will be capped at 144 players and you must be pre-registered to participate. 

 

80-minute rounds

No turns

5 points per win, 1 point per draw, 0 points per loss

No 5 person pods

 

Prizes:

1st: $1,100

2nd-4th: $500

3rd-16th: $200

Prizing could be adjusted down based on attendance.

 

Registration will include entry into Nerd Fest

cEDH 5K

Player check in 9AM

Up to 10 MDFC proxies allowed

Preregistration is required.

Super Smash Bros Tournament

Nerd Fest Face-Off will be a competitive Smash Bros Ultimate tournament.
 
The tournament will be capped at 48 entrants.
 
Registration closes at 4pm and Bracket will Start at 5 pm.
 
Rules:
  • Stock and time are set to 3 stock and 7 minutes.
  • Bracket will be Best of 3 Until Top 12, which will be Best of 5.

 

Prizes are based on number of entrants.

 

Registration does not include entry into Nerd Fest.

Christmas Toy Drive

Saturday & Sunday

Team up with Santa to deliver some Christmas joy this holiday season.  Renewal by Anderson will be taking donations both days of the event.

Infinity: No set restrictions

50 minute rounds

Number of Swiss rounds depends on attendance with a cut to Top 8.
